Formula 1 Weekend

Hello Bloggers from all over the world!!
How was your weekend? Mine is awesome!! It was the Formula 1 race weekend here in Singapore and I had the best ever experience this time around. Things that I never expect that I will achieve or even get close to it had happened over the weekend. In the heart & bustling city is where the race began way back in 2008. Oh my! It has been 6 years & I have never missed a single bit of it! Alhamdulillah.. Allah has given me another chance to witness the most wonderful race & watch my favourite star up close & personal. All that I ever dream of. :-)
Can you imagine watching Robbie Williams doing sound check at the Padang stage before anyone else could? Looking at him singing his songs before everyone did? It was such an experience... I heard & saw him up close and personal! No one would ever understand the feeling of a FAN! And the best part is when I saw him doing the sound check, he smiled at me... Ahhhh!!!!!! Melts my heart! (No photos as we are not allowed to take & disclose anything before the start of race or anything behind scenes) I grew up listening to Robbie Williams and singing his songs like there is no end.. One of my favourites: Better Man, Angels, Rock DJ & Millennium. He never disappoint his fans despite the rain & heavy showers on Saturday! He sang with his soul. We party-ed like there is no end singing to his hits. Robbie Williams was a great sport! He kept us all alive throughout that 1 & 1/2 hours at the Padang Stage. Here are some photos of Robbie Williams on stage despite the rain for his concert!!!

Robbie Williams!!! If you are reading this!!! Haha... Please come back again to Singapore!!! Another concert please.. For all your fans here in Singapore!

Well, all this is possible when you get a special pass to the race event! :-) Welcome to the #F1NightRace and look at how happy I am... I will leave you to some photos taken during my walk around the event area.

And... to the winning teams of the F1, congratulations! Well done Lewis Hamilton on the win!! Sebastian Vettel!!! Let's go for a win at the next race to all Redbull fans!

Make-up

Time for an update everyone! How's life and things around? Recently, I've gone on a make-up tutorial taught by a friend of mine. I learned the process of dolling myself up & looking pretty. Also, my friend helped me out to doll me up. I love the sight of it! Paid to look pretty, Pretty as a girl, Pretty in nature & everything PRETTY! So... What is make-up actually made up of? What is it? & Why we girls need to use make up? Here are the answers....

Cosmetics (colloquially known as makeup or make-up) are care substances used to enhance the appearance or odor of the human body. They are generally mixtures of chemical compounds, some being derived from natural sources, many being synthetic.

In the U.S., the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which regulates cosmetics, defines cosmetics as "intended to be applied to the human body for cleansing, beautifying, promoting attractiveness, or altering the appearance without affecting the body's structure or functions." This broad definition also includes any material intended for use as a component of a cosmetic product. The FDA specifically excludes soap from this category.

Well...
Here is a picture to see my transformation that I am shocked to see as well...

This is after make up...

So.. the beauty of make-up? Anyone can look good with it! It gives women a right to look beautiful. As such it is a boon to modern women who love to play with colors. Makeup, at one time only belonged to the stage and galleries of theaters, but a few revolutionary women like Elizabeth Arden and Shehnaaz Hussain introduced makeup to normal women from everyday walks of life to look extra-ordinarily beautiful.

It didn’t take much time for women to understand that make-up could make them beautiful and stunning, thus it became an integral part of women’s everyday life. By using make up women accentuate their strength and hide their flaws. Girls as young as thirteen are obsessed with lip glosses, kohl, nail enamels and tinted powders. Though at times, this beautiful obsession could be expensive on health and skin. Hence, it is important to know the risks and benefits of make-up.

But becareful... Here are the pros & cons of using make-up....

Pros of makeup:

It is no longer a secret as to why women are obsessed with makeup. It can be applied quickly and efficiently. Women feel strong, confident and happy when they wear makeup. Some benefits of wearing makeup is that it helps women to hide blemishes and other flaws on their face. Also helps them highlight facial features which otherwise would not be as defined without makeup. There are thousands of products lined-up on shelves which suit different complexions, textures of skin, shape and size of the faces, and conceal blemishes. A study shows that older women who used make-up had less falls and a better posture than those who never or rarely used any makeup. Statistics say that 67% of women received better treatment from others when they wore makeup.

Cons of Makeup:

Wearing makeup everyday can cause serious skin problems. Most of the cosmetics available in the market contain chemicals, colors, additives and preservatives, some of them are even toxic. For instance, lipsticks contain dangerous ingredients including lead. Similarly there are equally harmful chemical compounds in blushers, kohl, powders, eye shadows, foundation and more. A layer of makeup on the skin clogs the pores and prevents skin from breathing.

Women rarely check the ingredients of products, nor do they discard them on expiry. Makeup should be worn lightly and occasionally. It is very important to remove makeup before retiring for the day.

Using light make up enhances a woman’s beauty and allure.
